The Western New York local section of ACS represents Niagara Falls and Buffalo, and surrounding areas. Membership in the local section is open to all members of the American Chemical Society.  More information on ACS membership may be found at the ACS Website.


2019 Undergraduate Research Symposium

Registration is open for the Western New York American Chemical Society's 12th annual Undergraduate Research Symposium to be held Saturday, April 27 at the D'Youville College.  The Keynote address will be entitled "Serving U.S. Army Soldiers via Organic Synthesis" by Dr. Pablo E. Guzman, Department of the Army.

Congratulations to Prof. Sriram Neelamegham,  2018 Schoellkopf Medalist

The Jury for the Schoellkopf Award of the Western New York Section of ACS selected Sriram Neelamegham, of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, University at Buffalo, as the 2018 Schoellkopf Award recipient.
